POWERFUL Mystery drink, feeding me and Jer. Shakeology.

The mystery drink is Shakeology!!!!!!
It will no longer be a mystery now that I have tested and tried it on lots of my family. I am a very sceptical person when it comes to how something will work for me. Like it took me 3 months before I tried to see if there would be results from doing the HCG diet. Even as I lost a pound a day I had a message running in my head about how it was just not working on me.

My trial tests on Shakeology are first and formost was to see if the little guy would like it and he does. WIN thats how I feel about that because he is so picky that I often get stressed that he will not eat any veggies at all. Besides little brains neeeeed protein to be able to think and learn when its growing, along with some healthy fats believe it or not. Go watch the Doctors videos they are so informative wish I could add what my little guys doctors all said about it also.

Then I tried it on all the family members. We all did the green shake, I am not going to lie not so great and I ended up adding my own powdered chocolate to get it down. After a bit it does grow on you but it is just not the best tasting one.
NOW The Chocolate Shakeology now thats a huge WINNER. ITS the best healthy drink evvvver. Now remember I wasn't a big chocolate lover but this stuff is the cats meow.

Its like drinking a ice cream drink but its healthy. I am so goofy that I even lick the blender clean and use a scraper to get the last little lick off. As I type I am drooling and want another shake this morning even though one is really good enough. I add all sorts of things to increase the protein levels and get a completely good breakfast from it. Some might ask why not just take the blender and put all the good stuff in daily and make it from scratch. After 3 years of doing that with the Little guy I am kind of getting tired of thinking up stuff and would love to just have an easy mix on hand at times and the Shakeology helps in that area, besides he watches and sees one dang veggie go in and he won't drink it. It also is a heck of a lot more healthy then the pediasure that he is drinking to keep his calorie amount up. Along with the fact that a month supply is a whole lot cheaper for the Shakeology then what it takes to buy pediasure for a months supply. It is going to take a bit to slowly wean him out of his expensive pediasure, but at least now I know he is getting good healthy veggies and fruit in disguised modes. And here is one more plus the shakeology tastes good even if it goes in just plain water on a drive up to the doctors making it so that he still gets a full meal in a cup for the day.

My lovely mystery drink is helping me stay un-hungry and keeping my little guy well fed in spinach and fruit and green things stuff he just will not eat unless its hidden and this hides it well. There are videos that came with the drink. Those workout videos are kicken the gut up a ton. I love the nice steady workout that is well rounded that comes with the first time you order the package special deal. Just 30 min of moving with lots of variations. It is helping me tone up.

Most important to me right now is that I am doing the shakeology workout videos and starting to feel the tight abs that I want to have after being a fatty girl. Its something I didn't think would be a part of my life ever again. Now I know I have Willpower and POWERNSHAKOLOGY to get me there.

To all HCG people you can drink this stuff after your first week off of HCG during P3. I know I have tried it to see the results of how it works and you stay pretty steady with it as one of your meals. My Mom and sisters have used it also along with my Dad who uses it as his breakfast on the diesel truck that he drives. He already lost 5 pounds most likely because now his body is getting a healthy meal. C boy drinks it before his wrestling matches and soccer games. Jer the little guy drinks it at night in a bottle and the Hubby is getting his cholesterol level with it as his early on the go meal in the morning ( you know these busy health providers need to learn to provide for their own health first).

Can be your most important meal of the day!

Don't leave home without it. It can even be in a 72 hour kits. What about a boy who needs a really good wrestle or soccer quick meal to get him to the next meal this is it. Last but not least feed a non vegetable eating child that wants to consume out of a bottle for the most part. Yep that's a really good food source for on the go.

Time out and evaluating my workout time frame!

I have come to realize that it is soso soso important to make sure that you really set your hypothalamus's during the P3 phase and not mess around at all. No matter how hard I am working out ( 4 miles every other day running and then some other cardio or strength train is the fare each day) the fat storage areas are slowly feeling out again and it is becoming slowly visible only to me, but none the less. My tummy is the spot that quickly starts to lose the tone and thin look if I am not vigilant.
The next three weeks are going to be very crazy, lots of Dr. appointments for Little guy and the wrestling moves into to hyper drive with all the tournaments that determine who really is the best of all the boys that are wrestling. Then add the factor that I have to do the Bus drive training in the snow. The truth be known I have no time left for myself. Either I blog or I exercise and so my blogging is going to have to cut down to once a week entries from now on. Otherwise I will really not have a reason to keep a record of my progress to a healthier body and lifestyle.
I am going to try and keep a better daily record on dailymile.com. Come be my friend and track your own progress; anyway so I can show that I really have worked out or at least walked and ran every other day that's where I will keep my record. Then just know that the off days I will be using my small library of DVDs to keep toning and firming the flab that is now here from having lost so much weight using HHCG over the last year.

5 miles the other day I felt so amazing and didn't even hurt the next day. I think the body is getting used to the moves and working into a stronger position now.

Dr Oz is becoming my favorite these days so many of my questions are getting answered by him. I am taking a time out from the HHCG for a bit and doing Dr. Oz 11 day workout. Along with the fact that the Hubby wanted me to stay off the scale and do just workouts and pay attention to the kitchen and food fare at our house just a bit more, so time out to work on better cooking and eating skills for all not just me he says.

Taking a time out is hard when your so addicted to making a record or wanting to tell those you care about something new that might help them but if I am not getting the work done myself its not going to matter how hard I have worked this past year to look and feel like a million bucks.
So moving on to an ever better life style, keeping things just a bit simpler once a week posting will be my new workout.

What a day.

I started the day at 5:30 am taking the C boy to wrestle practise, yes he is going to be more tired out today and less crazy on the home front, yippy for me.
I intended to do my new Tae Bo DVD but the little guy was whimpering around about wanting a bottle. His bottle is not really the classical bottle its a sippy hard lid that he has to suck out of but never the less I got a new cool drink to fill it up with.
This is a test to see if he will huck the bottle across the room being as it has not the usual pediasure that he is used to. This drink is filled with healthy real food that has been dried and then powdered and it does lots of good things for your body.
Now the name has to remain a secret until I decided my plan of action but let me just tell you it was the biggest hit on his part. He made me snuggle down by him and chugged that bottle almost gone before he fell back to sleep causing me to drift off with him.
When I became alert again the C boy was calling me saying uhhh where are you. Talk about fly out of there and not return home until 2 because of dentist appointments for the crew.
Later in the day the Little guy finished the last of his amazing drink ( I had stored it in the fridge) and he really liked it and he was fully alert drinking it. I saw immediate go to the bathroom result with him that was soft that evening (sorry but we battle this daily with him) and he said his tummy felt so good. He really liked this amazing drink and guess what I did to. It tastes great and I had no need to dip into snacks through the day. It got me clear to lunch at 1:oo pm.
After doing a huge cost break down of other powder drinks that I concoct and doctor into his bottle to mix with pedisure, just to get some kind of nutrition in to a non eater, the cost is less and the ingredients more food related then corn syrup based like pedisure. Now I am not going to totally throw the pedisure in the toilet but its nice to finally have something else that he likes. All the other protein or carb powder shakes and drinks he usually will chuck the bottle and it takes me all night to coax him into finishing it out and that's when he is asleep and all reserves are down.
I know your all dieing to know the drink name but hang on its going to take a few days to get arranged so you can tap into my source.
Yep best drink mix yet to help get this non eating child some healthy nutrition.

Here is a link to a runners nutrition note I really think that my little guy might need a taste revamp. His seems to have messed up and really altered taste buds. This is one thing I have really noticed while using the HCG protocol and being off sugar completely natural things can really be dang sweet once you have let it get back to basics. Hopefully this nutritional drink will help get him back there.

Running like a maniac!

So I got up early, put the running clothing on and hit the treadmill 4 miles at a 5.o pace taking 64.49 minuets to complete. I started my warm up with a half mile walk first so that I was very warmed up. It feels good to know that I really can move at a faster pace then what I did last year at this same time. Last year I would run up my stair case and have to stop just to catch my breath at the top back then. Now no big deal I could actually run all 28 steps several times and still be breathing with ease.

Maybe for New Years I will try the exercises workout called sledding and walking up and down the mountain to make it happen. My kids think that will be the best event yet! Will get back to you on that event later. Maybe I will see if I can fit into my old college day ski bibs that are packed somewhere in the old winter gear. If they fit I will really know that this body has arrived.

Posting this under p3 but I am really sucking at doing a good p3 right this time because there is no following the rules in a considerate measure. I already ate starch last night and keep dipping into the oatmeal granola bars that I created. They are so good but yet again because there is no pretty wrapping on it the Little guy is not really impressed with them so he wont try them. GGGGRRRRRRR. The candy sources are all gone in the house so now he is being forced to eat good today and I did catch him with a bag of carrots not that he had eaten any though. He made me eat three thank goodness for one healthy treat.

Chewy Granola Bars
(makes 9 servings)
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup extra virgin coconut oil, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped dates (we had to use raisins couldn't find any dates)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, toasted
1/4 cup ground flax seed
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats, toasted ( opps almost burned them the first time)
1 cup sliced almonds, toasted (we didn't toast them though)
1 cup chocolate chips dark ( our own variation)
Heat oven to 350F. In a bowl, whisk together first 5 ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press mixture into greased foil-lined 9" square baking pan. Bake 20 min. let cool completely. Cut into Squares.

Time for Evaluations!

If I go by what the scale says I would just climb in a hole and hide for a very long time. I am riding a slippery avalanche and trying to get my footing back.
I stopped the HHCG when all I could do was cheat and get myself in trouble. Way to many Christmas treats started showing up at our house. Christmas to me is wrapped in cheese balls, wheat thins and veggie dips. When loved ones brought huge gifts of some of these things I began to cave. You see I hadn't bought anything in the area of foods that mean Christmas to me, so I wouldn't be tempted. I resisted until the day after Christmas and then fell off the 500 cal. wagon ride.
The Hubby says "hey there is more then what the scale is saying that determines healthy". Look at your stamina and the inches lost along with what the the BMI reading is saying since my last measurement that was done on Oct. 6th. Here is the reading difference.

OCT 6th. 27.4 fat%
Dec. 24th. 26.2 fat%
I have brought it down more that's progress.
I tried Zumba at 5:45 am Christmas Eve Morning and loved it, looking to get me some DVD's so I can do it at home.

He says I must remember that muscle is heavier. I know that I just am wanting the scales to say that lower number that is being so elusive to me these days, so my head is having a hard time letting go of this number goal that I want to see.

Reasons I show and know that I have met my goal outside of the scales reading.
Hubby took me on a walk, I can keep up with him and his speedy walking legs like I have not in just even the near past.
I fit in a size 7 pants that I wore back before the Mc boy came to live in our world. That was 12 years and 9 months ago.
I have really strong muscles in several areas of my body that well frankly they haven't been there since I was a teenager and spent hours dancing or running or hiking and skiing.
The sides of my hips are starting to have that pretty hollowed out dip
I can wear and share some of my pretty girls shirts and skirts not her pants but hey I have been pregnant 10 times she never has, there must be bone movement compensation that we should take into consideration.
My Faraway son was shocked when he saw my face over the computer Skype video Christmas phone call. He thought I was his sister for a minute now that's a compliment she is only 16 years old.
The Hubby wants me to not get on the scales for awhile ( this after his little pep talk about how good I look when I was feeling low about the scale read out) and simply work on each area of my body to sculpt and shape. So for at least the next three weeks that's my new goal to do a work out something for 30 or more min. every single day.
Today 45min of Denise Austins Everybody and my butt and gut is feeling owe 6 hours later.

140.0 Mmmm WHY??? Turkey run

Why? cause my body wants to be this weight on the scale I guess.
Today would be the first day of maintenance if deciding to keep going that way. I have decide it will be about three weeks of maintenance before I do another round. I am not pleased that there was a rise again after eating pretty moderate. I mean the Cream Cheese shakes with the strawberries was what I ate on my first P3 round. The salad was lots of greens but maybe it has to do with the dressing yep sugar in it. Later that evening I could have eaten less of my dinner, less salad, less steak, less dressing that most likely had lots of sugar in it. I don't know its sure has been much harder this time around to lose, make the body set and now who knows stay at the lower weight. I think I am going to do a Thanksgiving load and then a 20 day round to lose towards my goal. I sure hope I am able to get to my goal without having to do anymore rounds and then the goal would be to maintain that for a whole year without having to do anymore rounds. I must admit I have learned lots and lots about so very many things on this journey. I will continue to learn I am sure for the rest of my life how to manage this body and the quirks that come along with it. Here's to maintenance for the next few weeks and trying to stay at a low level on the scale.
Eats today:
Green salad with chicken cucumbers, sunflower seeds, feta cheese and Waldon's sugar free onion salad dressing.
An apple with some peanut butter.
2 liters of Stevia hazelnut water.
Dinner baked Salmon, Cheese chunk and more water.
Rode my bike for 40 min and hiked the side of our hill for .8 of a mile that's a total of 2.8 miles worth of exercises. My leg hurts on the left side most likely because for a bit of the walk I walked backwards up the hill. Why, I don't know just for the fun of it that's why.

I am excited for tomorrow ready to run with parts of my family in a 5K race to try and win our Turkey dinner.

136.6 My second steak day did the trick.

I got back closer to the last weighed dose day from doing that steak day. I had a rough night. I think you could call it a hypoglycemic attack. I woke up shaking feeling sick lightheaded and dizzy and wanting to throw up. I started to shake and barley was able to tell the Hubby that I needed a spoonful of sugar fast. He got me jam and it was the craziest thing to feel the shaky sensation slowly move down and out of my body leaving through my toes and finger tips. Why did this happen to me I started wondering so I of course went searching for insight on why this would be happening to me. I read this and this and this.
After doing what would be considered fasting two days and then a big protein intake with minimal sugar for the day, but having over the past weekend eaten large amounts of sugar pure sugar in candy form I would say that my body was trying to get back to a normal, the first this article link really states it in a form I connected with.
But when I got up at 6 AM and going for the day I felt normal and back on top of things.

Breakfast Eats :Protein shake of cream cheese, milk, and strawberries along with a handful of cashews.
Lunch: Salad from Wendy's with grilled chicken. All 4 of my youngest boys had Parent Teacher conferences today. Plus a nutrition check and weight appointment for Little Guy Jer.
Dinner: Salad and steak and lots of steamed veggies. All 10 of my Hubby's brothers and sisters got together and celebrated their birthdays for the year. Hope the scale isn't undone from the meals eaten today.
Getting geared to run with my kids this weekend.

138.4 Tried another steak day today.

I had a rest day today resting from all exercises. Instead I did house work and the dreaded bills. I made the mistake of asking the Hubby if he thought I was looking like I had tighter legs like in the past. Smart Man he would only say the he loved me no matter what and that I would never be 21 again.
Little guy ate lots again today. Of course I made the peanut butter sandwich with carmel chips so that he would eat it no matter what. He ate it all but the crust. Along with an oatmeal bar from my sisters house. I wonder if he tried new things at school today. Again used the hungry med, I think I will have to keep this up for a little bit until we get him into realizing the messages that he is hungry.
Oh ya I ate an apple and had my steak and lots and lots of water today and I am drinking tea before I go to bed. The teenagers at my house are having a get along battle and I sure hope they get it figured out soon so we can have peace again.

138.2 Eating disorders in little kids.

Steak day sorta worked, at least the scale is not where it was at (and no I still am unwilling to post it) but it sure would be nice to stay lower instead of always climbing up the scales when I go on P3. I wonder if there really are people who lose instead of gain after P2? My legs are getting really strong and firm, now if my butt muscles would just do the same thing. I guess I am going to have to do the dreaded squats over and over to get that result. Sad thing is we have packed the weights up to finish our basement floor so who knows when I will have that available to me again.

3.2 miles running today 1.1 mile out on the road 2 .1 miles back on the treadmill.

I need ear muffs or a head band that covers my ears too and gloves to keep my fingers warmer.

Eats were chicken noodle soup with carrots. Celery sticks and milk. Lots of almonds an apple and lots of grape stevia water.

Jer the Little Guy and Not Eating Story

I was going to try doing one more steak day today and I was going to do it for my evening meal, but I had to get Jer to have a school picture taken and he then begged me to eat lunch with him. When you have a kid who will not eat and he invites to eat preschool lunch well you had better not turn him down because then what kind of example are you. He can't understand that you have an opposite scenario and want to lose fat where he needs to gain fat any time he can. Since Fri of last week he has been unwilling to eat, even his usually fare of steak or chocolate peanut butter sandwiches or even very much of his stand by Pediasure. The candy of the season has been a HUGE factor.

Did you know that when a baby is in the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) that often when they are old enough to manage and have started to taste that they will give sugar water on their lips to taste, especially before they do a IV stick or draw blood. The sugar water is like unto having a dose of morphine, thus I of course have a very addicted little guy to SUGAR in any form. I feel he seeks sugar more because it is a familiar taste that he is ok with compared to maybe other tastes especially when mixed with textures. Not all children would be this way but remember he had no food by mouth until he was 7 months old. Some do not feel that it is addicting which messes with me since working to be free from the need to have so much sweet laden food is what my diet has been partly about. Seeing how much sweeter and more flavourful food is without adding so much sugar to it is what I have learned along the way.

Read this and this or this to see how sugar acts as morphine to a preemie, how it works and how people feel about its usage.

This could be why he hasn't eaten anything except candy for 4 yes FOUR days including the pedisure which he usually will drink every night. This morning at 6 am when he asked for a drink there was hungry medicine given to him also. I was getting desperate to see him eat something healthy. This included that all candy got baned from the house. All the other boys if they had any left hid it where the Mom has not been able to find it and that includes the Little Guy not being able to find it.

So back to lunch I agreed to sit right down and eat with him. He ate some of the noodles, then the chicken chunks a few minuets later he was drinking the broth off his spoon which was a first for me and the teachers to see. We played a crunch game with the celery all the other little kids ate not him. 6 minuets later he decided to try one of the celery sticks. Yippee on to one more celery stick and one more. That is the first time he has ever tried them. I about jumped out of my seat, between me and the teacher we just kept scooping out chicken chunks and putting them in his bowl and talking about how yummy all the food was. He still wouldn't touch the slimy looking peaches that are out of a can. At my sisters house later that day he ate popcorn and roman noodles and at my brothers house that night Aunt Jamie got him to eat part of a peanut butter sandwich and 3 spoonfuls of yogurt. At bed time he asked for a pedisure and I the crazy girl that I am added the rest of his yogurt to it with probiotics and the hungry med again. We just gota make up the calories in that little body when the eating is good. Believe me I wish he would just do it on his own but at least there is a med. that can trip him into getting hungry some days. The thing that makes me crazy is that everyone elses food looks better then when it is at our house, even if it happens to be the same dang food, who cares though at least he is willing to eat today and that has helped me feel less stressed. I also didn't need to eat for him so hopefully this scale will stick or go down tomorrow. Yes I realize that I stress ate for him on Sunday thus a disgusting scale read got me on Mon.

I reserve the right to not put the scale reading on today.

I really do not want to blog today but I am driven by a goal to keep a record so that I am accountable to this weight loss goal that I have made. I am going to talk about the fact that I fit in all those skinny jeans that have been stored in my closet. Now not skinny in the skinny popular statement just skinny to me size 8 and I can now do the buttons up without sucking to hard on my gut.

I remember the day after my first boy, who is faraway, was born and I tried to put my old jeans on that I wore pre-pregnancy. No one told me that I would need to wait a bit to fit in. My Mom was not there to help me pack the bag and help my brain realize those things. I just thought that I would pop back to a pre-pregnancy shape and fit. Let me tell you how shocked I was to not fit. Hey I had gotten that big ball in the belly area on the outside now what gives. I then had to shove them back into my suitcase and put my big fat clothing back on. I even had to wear those dang things for a few weeks after till I could go get new clothing or pants I should say. Standing in the dressing room was not so happy a moment as I got pair after pair slowly moving up in size way past what I had ever worn before. I wore a size 5 or 6 back pre-pregnancy. I finally wrapped the brain around the fact that it was not going to ever happen for that old size. Even today as I feel grouchy at the scale and have no desire to post the weight I can fit into my size 8 and feel great because they are way smaller then last years size 14 jeans but the size sure likes to play with your brain.

I must focus on the fact that my thighs do not touch together anymore rubbing when I run or walk. My hips are very slim and there is no fat pad on the back side that makes me look like I need to cut a small hunk off. The arms are very defined not as nice and defined as mizfitonline.com but getting there. My muscles ache in lots of ways but it's the kind that makes me say yeah I am getting back in shape and feeling pretty great. So ya let me focus on that today instead of the scales. Oh yea doing a steak day and eating only an apple.
I am so much more in shape then what the scale had to say this morning.
Did stretching, my hip needed it after that dang long run Sat.

138.8 I am so sore. My brain even hurts.

The hike up the hill did me in. The tops of my legs hurt so bad I can barley get up to my upstairs rooms. Even my hips and gut hurt in spots I have not ever hurt in before. Definatly having to do the stretch and strengthen video with Denise Austin again.

I am sure the candy is getting me and I am not doing another steak day. I am just trying to eat very low cal and small portions for the next few days.

Breakfast: Eggs with cheese and onions
Lunch: Lettuce salad with cheese and tomatoes and carrot slices.
Dinner: Nice piece of grilled chicken for dinner and some wild rice. Handfuls of cashews and almonds to keep the candy at bay. A crash into a birthday cake with ice cream my Mc boy celebrates with this scary holiday and I didn't resist the cake. I am afraid to see the scale tomorrow I have got to get rid of the candy in my house. I have started throwing it in the trash if I see it out of the safe hiding spots that the kids are making.

137.8 Life went into over busy mode there for a few days.

Fri. Scale read 137.6 That steak day did not work so well. Not sure if it is because there is a lot of muscle building going on or what but I sure didn't drop back down to where I should have been or like the protocol promises. I also missed the water drinking that I should have done.
Today I did part of my stretching with Denise Austin video and 50 sit ups and crunches.
Saturday posting also. 137.8 on the scale.
Yep you can tell not enough water drinking happening yesterday.
Today the Hubby took me on a long workout. I was only supposed to run 3.5 miles today in my schedule's plan towards a 10K. But he wanted to show me how to work on cross training along with the running. So after .42 of a mile warm up we took off up the side of the mountain range that runs along our home. He wanted me to run, no way was I going to fall down I told him so I did a half gimpy kind of run but mostly walked fast because there were big rocks to cross over. Upon reaching the top we took off back down the side hill and met up with the side of the road that I usually run along this ended up being about 1.29 or a bit more of a mile. Then we preceded to run up a steady slow incline way past 3 miles but that was my fault because I forgot that a cattle guard was the turn around point. After awhile he said I am sure we have gone well over 3 miles. I kept saying well where is the fence that I saw on my Google map which goofy me had already passed but kept looking out over the distance thinking the fence would come back and meet the road soon that was out there in the distance. Upon arriving home we consulted the map and looked at the length we had gone, total over all was 5 miles with the mountain hill hike which I had not run but the rest measured out to 4.5 miles. WOW I think I over did it just a bit considering I didn't have to go that far yet.
Things he kept saying to me.
Run straight
Move your arms straight not side ways.
Lengthen your stride out.
Breath in a pattern.
Keep loose hands not fists.
Hold your body straight no sideways moving, your off balance.
A few other things that were personal because he was watching my behind.
He can walk as fast as I can run so he did a lot of catching up to me instead of running ahead of me.
I survived driving kids to get candy. Yes I ate some yes I am going to pay in the morning scale reading
And just for the record this is my least favorite holiday. I think its a manufactures greatest plan to get us fat and make parents crazy with wild children but unfortunately my hubby loves it and so do my boys all dressed up nasty and scary like this year. Jer he is a sugar alcoholic and hopefully I can get him back to eating anything nutritious in a few days.
What do you do let them eat it all in one big binge or take it and dole it over the week? I have done it both ways this year they are binging because I want it gone and fast.

138.2 Killed by chilie, Steak day again.

I know I know it usually takes two days for a weight change to show up and here it is. It's not to bad but it's over two pounds again.
I had to study today to take my CDL test so I walked on the treadmill while reading my book and going over all the info I need to keep on my brain for the big test.
I also went to my closet and have to give away some of my cute long sleeved shirts because lets face it I now look like I am wearing a bag instead of trying to squeeze into these shirts. Such a crazy switch since last winter. I really like these shirts too but that's ok now I get to get some new things again.
Walking 2.5 miles while reading.
I ate my steak late in the evening and hope that there is a big drop. I am grappling with doing another round or waiting until after all the holiday's are over. I would hope that I could lose to my goal of 120 by Thanksgiving but do I risk the possible tangle that I have to work with over the holiday eats that are sure to be there to face. Especially when your supposed to restrict yourself from some many starches after the drops are done.

137.4 HOOKABOO Dieting thoughts.

The sugar demons are getting closer and ready to eat your good diet success with sugar at every corner you turn. Stay strong my friends do not give in to the drowning that is impending and knocking at all our doors.
Eat a carrot instead its has sugar in it toooooo.

I am cross training today going to ride my pretty girls bike and see if I can work up a sweat in the frosty air that we have here this morning. (Oooh that kicked my butt I can really feel it in my back and top of thighs). 30 sit ups and 30 crunches both in the morning and evening at bed time.
Breakfast chocolate with cashews and a smoothie of yogurt strawberries and cream cheese.
Also laying the Garden to rest dang I am going to miss eating my own fresh cucks, spinach and salad selections. Wish I had a greenhouse that I could keep over the top and help the earth inside stay warmed.
Ate fried green tomatoes with onions and turkey burger saute ad together in coconut oil (cold expeller pressed) then placed over the top of fresh spinach leaves and Waldon's sweet onion dressing.
Later dinner I cheated with a hot dog smothered with chili and ate the bun too. Along with a killer cupcake with way to much gaggy frosting. I guess if the scale goes up I should not have done that but I am human with frailty's some days but it was a party and I didnt want to be rude.

As to the diet protocol. I am doing my own diet with out the help of a consulting Dr. I do faithfully read Dr. Simeon's protocol and I make sure I research all kinds of things so that I feel in my self secure with the choice I have made in losing the weight that I carry.
Do I think if I went on a 500 cal diet and no HCG that I would lose, NO. Maybe my good fat but not my locked fat storage. That's the fat that I want to have go away. So now that I understand some of the bodies chemical compositions and ways that it protects itself from being depleted along with the fact that there are several people I know who have lost when they were pregnant by shaving the diet down I still think I would and will do the HCG diet way. BUT I now love to run and like to feel the strain on my muscles and the firmness that even nasty crunches ans sit ups make me feel. So balance in all things is way way important.
Anyone reading this needs to know that they need to make sure they research everything out for themselves and not just on my words alone because I will not take any authority for what you choose to do because its your own path not mine.

137.6 Body Battle for Monday.

Yesterday the scale said 137.8 So much for doing Saturdays steak day. The body is refusing to go back to 135 no matter what I have done and it likes this 137 point I guess. Steak day didn't budge it nor running 3 miles and walking did there elicit any kind of change on the scale. So who wins well not my brain definitely the body for now.

Yesterday I ate left over steak, an apple, nuts, sugar free toffee, bean salsa a tiny tiny bit, carrots, humus, celery and feta cheese and a handful of grapes.

Today I ran and am eating yogurt smoothie and craving lots of chocolate and nuts again. Had a yummy omelet with homemade salsa and for dinner a chicken spinach apple salad with Waldon's Ranch dressing. Oh yeah and sunflower seeds. Drank my water today with grape flavored Stevia kinda yummy that's for sure.

Ran 2.5 miles and walked another .5 to round out for 3 miles worth of exercises.
Feeling strong today love that feeling.

137 Just another lazy rainy Sat.

It usually turns into one of those very lazy days. I hit the alarm off instead of getting up and loved every sleep in sec.
Made the C boy go on my 3 mile run and 1 mile walk. He made fun of me again because he can walk almost as fast as I run but he still attempts to look like he is running with me so I do not get so bugged feeling. I felt great and ready to keep it consistent next time instead of breaking it up with the walk in between. At least I got my run in before the rain started to come down.

Nice long soaking bath my hip keeps hurting and its really buggy that it does that.

Not really a hungry girl today I ate almonds and a tiny bit of cheese and then went to dinner with the Hubby for a very good prime rib dinner. I think I might pop from such a good meal. Good thing I really didn't eat to much earlier in the day.
I could only manage a small bit of the steak and was full so very fast. More thirsty then anything today. I guess this could look like a steak day but I wasn't trying to make it that way. I did ask for tomatoes because I wanted them so much. Going to bed early while the Hubby goes to the movies with the teens so they can get extra credit at school. Secretariat what a great show.

137.2 Just make a win on Cheese today.

Am I am going to start a settle point? The scale has stayed today and thats a good sign.
Breakfast was an omlet with salsa and goat cheese
40 min combination of jump ropeing, bollywood dancing, Hubby laughed at me, and crunches again, would have gone outside to ride a bike but it started to pour rain.

Cheese do you want a chance to win some yummy cheese? Now only if your on P3 HCG'ers go here to enter and have fun seeing a cool blog at Simply the Sweet Life-Sweet Life in The Valley Secret is I hope I win cause I love cheese right now.

Eating today ended up being a mess, missed lunch cause of my job and early out school today. Felt like stress eating while sitting on the bus cause the kids yelled so so loud today, they would not settle down. It was a rough bus ride, I wanted to drowned in food instead of hearing the shrill voices especially the one I have to sit beside that is just so out of control sometimes. Add eye Dr. appointments and still no lunch, rain and running kids to FFA things, still no food, crashed into eating oreo cookies out of sheer starvation while grabing food stuffs at the store. Around 9 pm finally ate celary with Hummus and almonds and rasins and wheat thins. What a meal combination. Wonder what the scale will do in the morning. Maybe a happy way to look at it is that I carb loaded to run in the morning hours. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

137.2 TEETERING on the edge.

YEP Teetering around on the scales. The things hormones do to a girls system are so crazy. I sit and wonder this morning, am I safe to eat should I do a steak day again, the scale edge is so close to going over the 2 lbs but is it water swelling from the Aunt what? Ok so I am going to go ahead and eat normal but small and hope that its all about the water that my body wants to hang on to today.
Its a rest day from 10K training and I literally took it to heart after a night of being up all the time from one boy or the other. One with a fever, one needing a drink, one not making it to the bathroom you know the whose of being the Mom all night long. I was way tired by 6am.
I must need the food because I had that week kneed feeling again today around noon.
Lunch had a lovely salad with homemade salsa and turkey burger and some skim milk goat cheese. Ate a few bits a tastes of a cookie and some more cheese and then not much else.
All the kids are Teetering on the edge of sick. The strep throat is at our house, we have a slight fear of it on this end. Our faraway boy ended up with Rheumatic fever when he was 7 so now that our 9 year old K boy is acting much the same way we are already on guard and medicating it because there is no way this girl wants to stay at that faraway hospital that takes care of children's illnesses on a scary scale like that. Just hope the rest of them manage to not come down with it especially over the weekend.

136.4 Sugar sugar everywhere!

I am feeling a bit sugar drowned. This morning I have a weak feeling every time I have to go up and down the stair case. I get everyone out to school and then look at my need for a healthy breakfast. Omelet with tomatoes, onions, celery, coconut oil and then here comes the struggle. Every meat that I want to use along with my omelet aside from getting a whole steak un-thawed is sugar laden. The can chicken has food starch, the can crab has sugar, the lunch meat turkey has dextrose and modified food starch, the turkey sausage has corn syrup. Needles to say I finally took a bit of ground beef cook it up and then mixed it in my omelet. Why do they have to put sugar or starch in everything. Hubby says its cause it makes it look prettier, seriously I am not sure how that makes cooked chicken look prettier but whatever.

Working on 2 mile run on treadmill and lots of crunches today.
A new blog to pursue on healthy eating. Here's one showing some sugar visuals.

Oh I figured out why I had the weak feeling all morning. The lovely Aunt Flo came to visit. This time there was not a single prep sign except maybe feeling a tad grouchy. None of my usual pre headache, pre arm ache where the blood flow seems to increase the volume level and makes my injured area hurt. It was strange to have no symptoms, kind of like when I was a young girl again. My partner sis said now it seems your symptom free because HCG is getting you straitened out hormonally. I guess that's a good thing as compared to the past misery when she comes that I have had to deal with.
Lunch a big green salad the last of the spinach and lettuce out of my garden today. Along with tiny steaks and some almonds for my dinner.
Have to train tonight about how to take kids on field trips what a eye opener.
