I am alive and here is my green hoop house and Garden.

We prepped the ground with lots of fertilizer from of course the cow pens down yonder.

Built a frame that holds the pipe in a curve and wont let if flip up. Laid soaker hoses all over the ground and put plastic over the top.
The last phase will be to put the plastic cover over but since it finally warmed up we will wait till the end of the season to put it on.
I pulled back some of the plastic in the center point to plant little rows of lettuce and radishes and green onions. I figure I can stay ahead of that much weeding space in the inside.
We tried our hand at  a few green beans some grew some did not. Of course these are on the outside because they have a shorter growing season.

Check out that yonder weed patch that sits right on the edge. This years moisture grew all kinds of stuff that is already going brown now that the rain and snow is gone  on a daily bases.
These are onions with some lettuce and chives and carrots of course trying to stay ahead of the weed patch that can take over.
Its been a lovely garden and I am now eating the produce from it.
I started another HCG round to drop the summer no run, few pounds gained. We have had lots of fun picking out the veggies that  are here and now I get to use them to lose the non attentiveness. The kids have kept me so busy with animal raising and then our faraway boy returning has made lots of changes so the pounds crept back on and yikes when the Levis were tight one day after wearing lose summer shorts I got back on the weight management ball, so here's to loosing my summer roll in the middle that I didn't relize was getting back on me.

Where do you put the fat back on?

144,0 My own Stevia plant.

I had one of those physiological slides. See the scale didn't hurt me from my infractions yesterday so I kept feeling like I would be just fine and dandy. That was a nice sized weight drop.
BUT!!
I didn't feel hungry all day but I kept wanting the stuff you shouldn't have when losing with HHCG. It started with making french toast for the kids all at home. A grinding pull to taste it because it was there and I wanted. I did resist the whole one and went for tiny bites that Jer tried to feed me out of his. It had lots of cinnamon sugar on it since he thought it was toast and I disguised it under the guise of cinnamon toast. Then a very very late lunch at 3:00 because of swathing and hauling hay with the hubby. Dinner late again. and dang tempting swiss cheese. I caved I hope its not as bad on the scale rise as it might be say I was eating sugar. I wasn't even hungry I just wanted it outside of the 500 cal limit that you are supposed to stay on to drop the excess weight. This round is harder on the psyche. I know the protocol works so why do I keep messing with the temptations?

On a lighter note my Dad is the bestest. I had know idea he and my Mom where attempting to grow their own Stevia plants. They started several months ago and then brought a pretty plant to all of their kids. Its like a mint leaf without the minty taste just a very very sweet taste when you bite down into it. I was so excited now I will always have my own no calorie sweetener if I dry the leaves and grind them up into a powder. Now if only the little plant will grow big into a bushy bush. Problem is it can't ever get cold and that is going to be tough to keep from happening in the cold land of Utah.

Breakfast: Bites of cinnamon toast which was really french toast under the covering.
Lunch: Beef burger, Cherries bell tomatoes most likely more then I should have eaten. Orange and grissini sticks.
Dinner: Talopia fish, apple, and I can't remember what my veggie was we had so many kinds in the kitchen from picking most everything out of the garden because it froze last night. To many melba toast and the dang cheat of to much Swiss cheese.

148.6 Finally a semi quiet day.

It's raining cats and dogs, there is a post sitting that was for Mon. and Tue combined but I have to wait to make it public after seeing what the outcome of life takes, stay tuned.

Eating: I keep getting caught in crazy spots without healthy choices and it's wearing me down. Last night I ate pizza. The crust was thin the toppings were chicken and tomatoes, artichokes and lots of creamy ranch sauce but again there was a heavy white crust. A slice made it in my mouth for breakfast to today. I am still maintaining with slight rise above the goal stop point for my last round.

I can't get to a minute of exercise at all I am playing catch up on bills, paperwork, house keeping and getting kids ready for school. I am tired it's hot and not sleeping well again has occurred. If I could get some in I would drop back to the 145 set point of my last round I am sure.

I really want school to get started.
I want to drop the last 20, well now 25 pounds that my WII says should be my optimum weight for my age and height. I want to do it before all the veggies are gone out of my exploding garden.

I laid plastic in the garden so I didn't have to weed so much and it has worked like a heat absorber and a moisture retainer for the roots of the veggies. I have never had so many cucumbers and lettuce growing at one time. The tomatoes are monsters and will make me can lots for this winter. Not to mention that I will only have to buy meat and fruit for when I start the 25 pound drop for my diet. Well and the expense of an onion or two and some cabbage leaves. This will be the cheapest time I have ever done the diet this year.

147.8 Thats great!!!! Apples are rad.

Well it's been one of those kind of days that you spend forever in town doing the trillion errands that you have saved up because if your me I do not like going to town to much. Spending money that is meager makes me stressed so stay away from town is usually my weapon.
Garden is officially finished expect for sprinklers set up.
House is officially destroyed with summer unattended boys.

My clothing closet is turning into a store front with what will or will not fit nicely (so fun).
I am craving running which seems odd to me. The fat seems sucked out of spots that you just can't seem to get rid off by simple exercise alone. I do like HCG wish I had known that power during my pregnancy's. I am smooth in my tummy area more and more. My rib cage is smooth on the sides and I am almost to hit my 145 goal set area.

So question is it better to run in the morning or evening?
Is it better to eat a bit before or after you run tell me what you have heard.
Grateful for the warm air that is finally in our valley and seems to be staying for good now.

149.6 BOUNCE again.

Whats with this round I mean really a 3 to 6 days at a number. It's a crazy thing that's for sure.

Last night I realize how helpful my boys are with my littlest one and keeping me reminded of what to do for him. Mc. spent the large part of an hour talking him into eating bites of peanut butter on a cracker. The next time I went past the Reese's pieces were inside the cracker with the peanut butter and half of it was gone. I asked who had nibbled and Jer told me him and Mc. There was a mad winking of the Mc's eye as he denied that he had any nibbles. There were no dried blueberries gone, but well when you try to get anything into a non eating child half a cracker with peanut butter and Reese's pieces is a major accomplishment. I dug out the hungry med gave him some and got back on the treadmill. He insisted he was done so Mc got to eat the rest of the pieces and they left to jump on the tramp. 1 hour later I am grilling a hamburger mini size because the Jer boys med made his brain get a hungry message, still no blueberries are eaten. The Dad rescued them as he about threw them on the floor. UGHA it is so hard to diet when you have to push food into a non eater. To many tiny bits left that heaven forbid how could you wast them.
Then going to bed Z boy says "Mom you forgot Jer's shot" (he whispered it in my ear) so I run back down load it up so he can't hear all the beeping and run back up quickly attack his leg and it's over. Z tells him soothingly" it's ok I want you to become 6 and big like me, you will be ok just give it a second." They fall asleep Jer holding Z's hair twisted in his little fingers.

Breakfast: Roobios tea with a tablespoon coconut oil and lots of stevia in it.
Brunch: Apple
Lunch: Raw asparagus, grilled lean hamburger on one wasa cracker.
Dinner: TOTAL COMPLETE SABOTAGE ON TO MANY LEVELS. One of my many nephews is leaving to boot camp and they had a party. Potato salad, chips with bean corn salsa dip, another hamburger, cheese, then the why don't you try the banana pie or chocolate carmel pie. Now it's been about three months since I had any thing like those pies they were tiny pieces and finally I got the heck out of there. Love them all (the family) but I have got a goal to meet and HCG likes to burn that instead of my fat storage areas and there is going to be a huge bounce tomorrow I can tell.
Miles: 2 miles this morning, that's 4,923 steps. Slept on the treadmill trying to undo damage from family party. Really I did go to bed after doing 4.5 miles watching movies with kids. I am sure that was over 10,000 steps but my pedometer was my daughters this time and it didn't set to record right.

Got part of my garden in today since the wind finally quit blowing it across to the next big city.

Visiting a time old tradition.

I remember as a small girl going with my Nana June and collecting asparagus on the ditch banks near her house in Idaho. I can still recall the wonder I had inside me that there would be something growing out there that was edible. She would steam it and cut it up with salt and butter. It was the best treat ever that I always looked forward to in the spring. The year after my hubby and I moved back to his ranch at the beginning of our married life I was so excited to find that there was a whole field of wild asparagus next to our ranch. My Mother-in-law took me across the wild tall grasses and there in a clearing were great big stalks of the wintered over bushes that had gone to seed. These stalks are the tale tell sign that you have a great find. We would gather and gather and be back in a about two to three days to again gather. Alas the field stopped producing because of flooding so now I am back to scavenging along the ditch on our ranch for small amounts compared to the hauls that we used to get.

After learning that this diet called for the wonderful treat of course without butter I was excited to have spring come. This way on my second round I could eat the really fresh wild grown vegetable that I remember finding as a child. So here's a photo shoot of my scavenging adventure on our ditch banks.
Maybe I will even go visit the old field and see if any new starts might have started back up these 6 years later since my last visit.
Thanks Nana for showing me a wonderful God given treat!

What yummy dinners these green shoots make. The first meal is made with the asparagus and a side of black peppered halibut with thin Wasa crackers.
The next dinner is Chicken cooked in Cold Expeller pressed Coconut oil and Wasa bread which is much thicker then a cracker.

164 New scales

20 lbs gone!!!!!

Lunch Stuffed chicken roll out of my recipe book. Tiny bit of onion and spinach sauteed in braggs and "wala" it was good. I do wonder on counting calories because my Fitday.com count said it came to 321 for this meal, but the Melba rounds were counting out way higher then what the box stated for 4 rounds. The box said 4 rounds were 50cal and Fitday.com logged them at 78cal so that kind of left me wondering how things are calculated. And cooked spinach comes out different then a raw spinach even though the measurement started at the same point. So back to talking to the nurse friend and a nutritionist friend, here's the scoop, The box would be the better cal count to go from on the melba rounds. Why well every batch and every box is really an estimate and Fitday.com is going from a basic rounding out number. The spinach when cooked becomes higher because it is broken down and the body isn't having to work so hard to do that break down work, therefor you end up with a higher cal count. Also all the vitamins and minerals are lost when it has water added to it unless you drink the liquids that are left. So this is why you see very malnourished people in countries that eat alot of raw food and not so much in other countries that can break their foods down in all the many cooking ways that we have created. Now that's something I never thought about. So a roasted almond has more cal then a raw almond hmm well this would be something we should all learn in high school. Maybe the statistics about the parents out living the kids would change and it could get turned around to the kids being around as long as the parents. (just a thought)

Lunch I took to long and had to much help from kiddos making my flattened chicken to roll cooked spinach in with tiny bit of diced onions and cooked in the juices from sauteing the spinach. Too long meant I ate a handful of almonds that were mixed with cranberries that were dried. When I looked up the cal amount after I nearly choked. After P2 this would be a fine cal amount but not right in the middle of it. Notice I am not writing it down you have to figure it out. Needless to say I did not have my fruit and ate about 2:30 when I finally got to get the chicken cooked and done I had already eaten my 2 melba rounds and the almonds and the dried cranberries so I only partook of the one chicken roll stuffed with spinach. Lesson learned, when kids are underfoot for the day eat a baggy chicken salad that I prep ahead. I felt like I was a taxi driver all day starting at 7 am and ending at 9 pm. I never had a chance to make my own dinner so I am doing an experiment of having what I made the family. Turkey breast with my melba rounds and an orange. I can't remember if I ate my veggie I know I couldn't eat the families broccoli veg. WHAT A DAY can you tell they were all out of school today.

My spray ran out the day before so I have switched to the bottle of drops. I like this way much more then the spray. I choose the spray thinking it would be easy to not have to measure out a drop but now I have changed my mind. The spray is cold and the drops just stay in the one area that they are placed not making all my front teeth cold. Just my own idiosyncrasies.

I watched a documentary by Jamie Oliver in ABC.com http://abc.go.com/shows/jamie-olivers-food-revolution the obesity rate in West Virginia. It was very informational about how we have so much processed food and it is mostly bread type. This is so not green in any form at all. He even talked to the school lunch program trying to point out that if you can't read what the label says below the main ingredient of chicken should you be a bit worried. The next time would be on the way they mix chemicals to keep all these foods freezer safe. It looks evil to see these chemicals and think about it in our food. The one parent who was doing his program said that they had cut out all the snacks that the kids ate and increased the green in their diets and they were all losing weight because of it. I must be a mean Mom because we hardly have candy snacks at our house its always a home made brownie with extra eggs in it or carrot sticks or apples. There is never enough money to buy frivolous snacks.

I AM GROWING A BIG GARDEN AND DRYING AND PRESERVING LOTS OF FOOD THIS FALL.
