I thought that maybe those who are reading my blog would like a few more spots that have good input about how to do the HCG diet. I do not get my product from this site but I really like the layout of how to make an HCG diet work for you. Click the link here to see their take on how they make it work.
I really like to pay attention to this girls success mostly because she is a diabetic and has been successful at making HCG work for her. Click here to go watch her video.
As for me this week I can really see that because I did not do a very good ending to the last round that I tried at Christmas time, well lets just say things are catching up to me. I also have had very crazy sporadic workouts, sick kids, busy at work and going to far away Dr, visits. but it will be ok I will be getting the weight back on track and under the control that I am used too this next week.
I really hate that lovely visitor Aunt Flo and the havoc that comes with her. I notice these days that I am ravaging hungry just before and it seems that I do not get filled up no matter what I eat.
One plus though is that this mystery drink I have been testing is really helping me and Jer be very very regular and for Jer that is a major plus. After seeing a huge panel of Doctors that follow his growth and mental capacity, weight, elimination and eye sight because of being born 3 months early we are getting a, he seems to be right on track, with the adjusted age that they use to do all these developmental measurements. The Hubby wished that he could have seen a lung Dr. that would give us a measurement but nope that was not one of the Doc's on the rotation this time. My favorite Doc is the one who has tons of experience of course because his very own son tested him in many ways and he told me if the only way to get my silly little guy to eat a piece of cheese is with chocolate on it go for it anything when he is this picky is better then nothing. Thank goodness he will take a vitamin these days so going without a few veggies is not hugely detrimental to his development. I told him about my super duper mystery drink that gets veggies into Jer without him realizing it and he said he had heard of it and to keep on using it that it was a great thing for growth of a little body with eating issues. It was salve to hear this Doc tell me that he thought I was doing a super good job with all the tricks that it takes to get Jer to eat even if I have to brush his teeth like crazy because he thinks drinking a powerpacked ( this means mystery drink, cream, yougurt, peanutbutter, spinach, fruit with no lumps that kind of thing) bottle all night is the only meal on certain days. He said believe it or not but kids with issues like Jers can really truly starve themselves if they didn't have Moms like me, yep made me feel pretty dang good after all.

139.8 Hold to a spot for a min?
It looks like my body is going to like this spot for a min. I wish it were back down but for now it is just fine considering how badly I ate over the weekend. I am ram ping up the miles and wanting to reach 5 miles so that I will feel like I can really truly reach a 10K at a speed that is decent and not slow as a tortoise even though the steady one is usually the winner right?
Oreos, milk, lasagna with extra meat that I added. 1 orange, chipsncheese, bugle chips, milk again. It was sorta pieces here and there and not really ever a total meal eaten. I ran 2 miles at a 5 pace and had to do it in the house on the treadmill. I wanted to do more but had interruptions and finally was just grateful to get what I got in.

137.2 Just make a win on Cheese today.
Am I am going to start a settle point? The scale has stayed today and thats a good sign.
Breakfast was an omlet with salsa and goat cheese
40 min combination of jump ropeing, bollywood dancing, Hubby laughed at me, and crunches again, would have gone outside to ride a bike but it started to pour rain.
Cheese do you want a chance to win some yummy cheese? Now only if your on P3 HCG'ers go here to enter and have fun seeing a cool blog at Simply the Sweet Life-Sweet Life in The Valley Secret is I hope I win cause I love cheese right now.
Eating today ended up being a mess, missed lunch cause of my job and early out school today. Felt like stress eating while sitting on the bus cause the kids yelled so so loud today, they would not settle down. It was a rough bus ride, I wanted to drowned in food instead of hearing the shrill voices especially the one I have to sit beside that is just so out of control sometimes. Add eye Dr. appointments and still no lunch, rain and running kids to FFA things, still no food, crashed into eating oreo cookies out of sheer starvation while grabing food stuffs at the store. Around 9 pm finally ate celary with Hummus and almonds and rasins and wheat thins. What a meal combination. Wonder what the scale will do in the morning. Maybe a happy way to look at it is that I carb loaded to run in the morning hours. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

136.4 Sugar sugar everywhere!

I am feeling a bit sugar drowned. This morning I have a weak feeling every time I have to go up and down the stair case. I get everyone out to school and then look at my need for a healthy breakfast. Omelet with tomatoes, onions, celery, coconut oil and then here comes the struggle. Every meat that I want to use along with my omelet aside from getting a whole steak un-thawed is sugar laden. The can chicken has food starch, the can crab has sugar, the lunch meat turkey has dextrose and modified food starch, the turkey sausage has corn syrup. Needles to say I finally took a bit of ground beef cook it up and then mixed it in my omelet. Why do they have to put sugar or starch in everything. Hubby says its cause it makes it look prettier, seriously I am not sure how that makes cooked chicken look prettier but whatever.
Working on 2 mile run on treadmill and lots of crunches today.
A new blog to pursue on healthy eating. Here's one showing some sugar visuals.Oh I figured out why I had the weak feeling all morning. The lovely Aunt Flo came to visit. This time there was not a single prep sign except maybe feeling a tad grouchy. None of my usual pre headache, pre arm ache where the blood flow seems to increase the volume level and makes my injured area hurt. It was strange to have no symptoms, kind of like when I was a young girl again. My partner sis said now it seems your symptom free because HCG is getting you straitened out hormonally. I guess that's a good thing as compared to the past misery when she comes that I have had to deal with.
Lunch a big green salad the last of the spinach and lettuce out of my garden today. Along with tiny steaks and some almonds for my dinner.
Have to train tonight about how to take kids on field trips what a eye opener.

148.6 Finally a semi quiet day.
It's raining cats and dogs, there is a post sitting that was for Mon. and Tue combined but I have to wait to make it public after seeing what the outcome of life takes, stay tuned.
Eating: I keep getting caught in crazy spots without healthy choices and it's wearing me down. Last night I ate pizza. The crust was thin the toppings were chicken and tomatoes, artichokes and lots of creamy ranch sauce but again there was a heavy white crust. A slice made it in my mouth for breakfast to today. I am still maintaining with slight rise above the goal stop point for my last round.
I can't get to a minute of exercise at all I am playing catch up on bills, paperwork, house keeping and getting kids ready for school. I am tired it's hot and not sleeping well again has occurred. If I could get some in I would drop back to the 145 set point of my last round I am sure.
I really want school to get started.
I want to drop the last 20, well now 25 pounds that my WII says should be my optimum weight for my age and height. I want to do it before all the veggies are gone out of my exploding garden.
I laid plastic in the garden so I didn't have to weed so much and it has worked like a heat absorber and a moisture retainer for the roots of the veggies. I have never had so many cucumbers and lettuce growing at one time. The tomatoes are monsters and will make me can lots for this winter. Not to mention that I will only have to buy meat and fruit for when I start the 25 pound drop for my diet. Well and the expense of an onion or two and some cabbage leaves. This will be the cheapest time I have ever done the diet this year.

146.6 Dare I say maybe a set weight on the horizon????
Well this might be a score if I keep staying at this number for more then one day at a time. After a good family dinner I am not bouncing high again so this is a very good plus today.
I had to take pretty girl J to leave for 4 year level hike. She has been to girls camp 4 times and once to the 4 year level hike last year. Several of her friends think she is nuts to want to go again on this hike that is not easy and is very long also. She thinks this kind of stuff is the greatest and I admit I am glad it shows that she will be an active girl. She gets to be a camp leader this year which they label a Junior Leader, she will be gone the whole week and she didn't even get to take her texter machine as I have started to call it. So no walk yet maybe tonight when it cools down. It decided to have a wind blowing torrent of rain so I gave up for the day besides mornings are cooler these days.
Breakfast: a cheesy fried eggs with a bit of tomatoes sliced and almond butter with nutella.
Lunch: Steak and tomatoes, avocado, cottage cheese, sunflower seeds and raspberries vinaigrette form Waldon's Farms. Oooh what a salad. Practically forced myself to eat the whole steak.
Dinner:A small smoothy the one I keep making all week with the berries, ya that one.
Someone was whining to me about the cost of using Stevia in their water every day. Here is a math count down of the price of a soda drink that's 64 oz. by the time you bought one everyday for a 1.25 that's including the tax you will have spent 37.50$ over a whole 30 days. One 10.00$ or 14.50$ liquid stevia will fill 3 liters everyday for 30 days and sometimes more at 3 squirts a bottle and guess what you are more healthy in the end. So STOP WHINING AND GET A HEALTHY DRINK EVERYONE.

YEAH WHOOOOOOO!
It really works I dropped clear back to 159.2 even having eaten the steak in the early noon instead of the evening and I am so so happy. I admit I thought I would only go back a few ounces and not the whole two pounds worth. Now to make my body stay at that set weight.
Just some links that I fell on to that can make a farmers hair curl. I have already tried to sift through the labels and resigned myself to homemade ingredients to rid myself of the corn syrup.

I AM 43 years old. 161. New Scale
So I have a ton of thoughts today. I am amazed at how well I feel. Like energized and boundless ability to keep moving. This is how I used to feel about eight years ago. That of course was before my last two pregnancies and miscarriage. I have been pregnant a total of ten times. I carried only seven children to birth though. Only one child out of all of them went past their due date and one to a week before his due date. Everyone of the other children were born anywhere from a month to 34 weeks to 26 weeks early. I always gotten high blood pressure no matter how hard I worked at eating well, and ok not drinking enough water. There was a vague moment two years ago when I wondered what made a person fat and why they would want to be that way as if I wasn't moving swiftly to the obese category myself. Then the day not so long ago when I could not wear the jeans that I just bought in Sept. of 2009. They would not zip up, not this again. This made me say hey I am in that same place as everyone that is fat, no not fat OBESE. Even when my Wii said it I was in denial until yesterday when it said overweight instead of obese for the first time since we got the darn thing two years ago.
Have I tried to lose weight YES. Call me treadmill girl, but I could not go over the speed of 2.5 without getting breathless. Ask my sister-in-law I am sure she would have loved to pick up the walking speed on our bike trail. I even would try to work with my sons when they wrestled like I had in the years before the age of 40. I was so over weight I could not keep up. Six years ago I even did Tae Bo every single morning for 30 to 45 min without fail.
I can not express how wonderful it is to have so much energy and sleep well and keep up with my teenagers when they come home at midnight. This is a blessing and if I CAN DO IT SO CAN YOU. I will reach the weight of 120 in the very near future and I might even pick up weight lifting and marathon running or maybe barrel racing too.
Lunch Fish (84cal) 1/2 grapefruit(41cal) 3 melba rounds(12.50each cal count) tomatoes(33) 195.50 total cal count. The grapefruit count on Fitday.com is hard to decide since you are taking it and cutting it in half after it measures a whole one but you are only allowed half.
Dinner Chicken(194cal) spinach wrap(7cal for 1c.) Orange(62) Grissini(22.5) by box cal amount said 45 for two so I cut the amount and stay within the 500.00. Total 285.5 for a round out of 500.00. I am eating my orange early.

163.8 Wii, BMI 27.96 163.2 new scales
Why do I have to do this up and down at all the strategic spots that I have ever weighed in my life??? Delivered the second to last son at this weight and stayed there for at least two years before my last pregnancy. It was a wild day and I almost didn't get my water drank for all the coming and goings.
Lunch shrimp on grilled tomatoes with grissini sticks and a few grilled onions. I forgot my fruit.
Dinner a bit of roasted beef with a lettuce wrap and apples slices maybe a forth of an apple. No Melba toast I didn't have time to calculate the calorie amount.
The hubby and I watched a show or info doc. on Dr.Danial Amen who promotes Change your brain Change your body, he said some pretty neat things to consider. "One is that the thoughts and things you say are so very important to the length of your life." "If it is continually negative statements that you say how can you ever have happiness and accomplishment and in the long run will shrink your brain and your life." "A very important thing to understand and know is your hormone level." "Also taking into account that if a cholesterol level is low this can cause you to be in a postion to have suicidal thoughts". Wow I guess I haven't ever had that problem but it makes me wonder what a person would not eat or do to have a way low cholesterol level and how the chemical break down would happen in your body. Also isn't everyone toting the keep your cholesterol level low anyway. So this must come back to a body needs good fats to protect the brain. I would really have liked to afforded to hear more of what he had to say but it's not in the pocket book. I need to buy my food more.
My hubby said that after stopping the HCG he heard that it is a good idea to use an estrogen cream like yam cream to help your body. I once had to do that after I felt so whacked out after having my fifth child and it really did help my hormones to settle. I remember feeling more energy and focus and less emotional. So on my list tomorrow is yam cream and yerba mata tea since I only have a week to shake these last few pounds and really didn't want to have to do another round.
The day was spent jumping on our trampoline with the whole family which I haven't done in years and walking a mile to take care of some fencing and then two miles on the tread mill watching shows. I felt great all day.

March 5, 2010 170.9 Wii 170.8 New Scales
So what made me stop and hold. Too many calories yesterday? Was it cause I really strength trained last night? Took a soaking bath and got too much of the soap in my scalp? Or is this my body saying hey familiar set point here not going to go past it for nothing.
Lunch White fish 133.3, spinach 7, melba toasts 60, and 1/2 grapefruit 51.85 Total 252.15.
Dinner Chicken with orange sauce 77.9 Orange 77.9 2 grissine, asparagus 27.1 Total 227.9 Total 480.05 I did good today.
170.8 LBS New scales are you kidding I went up!!
What a big disappointment my BMI went up today and I gained back a pound good grief what did I do wrong. Well I totaled my cal intake and it was 55-oz over the 500 limit. I took a shower maybe to much soap got on my scalp, we have such hard water that it makes our skin itch so I could have scratched it into my scalp. What if it was the small amount of strength training that I did. I do not even hurt today so I do not think it could be that. Well its frustrating that's for sure, but I will go on! It could just be that my body has a set point there, having been the point that I delivered a baby and weighed at that point for a long time.
Today I went looking as my body decided to not lose and actually gain. Things I found and their links.

This site has a calorie counter and lots of tips to help make a lifestyle change.
Let me just say this article is my life for the last four years high stress barely
any sleep for two years and glad to understand the cortisol level thing.
Well unearth my ball and start strength training. I want to unbury this 6 pack.
I feel that HCG has helped to burn the fat that was stored here because its the
first place I saw it begin to leave off of me.

March 4, 2010 170.9 Wii BMI 29.09 170.8 new scales
So strange now both my scales are reading almost the exact same Maybe my Wii is really really pushed around to much. My new scale hasn't been moved since the day I first used it. I think that's the most correct to. So this weight is what I sat at after delivering my last baby and held for about a year and a half based on what my records say on the Wii plus having my hospital leaving weight kept in my mind too. I wonder what will happen will I stall out here or sail through.
Lunch Shrimp 2 small tomatoes, orange and grissini. 284 total calories
Dinner Hamburger taco wrapped in lettuce and apple, grissini, that makes a total of 555 calories for the day. HMMMM I really need to watch a bit closer and remember that hamburger and shrimp are not to be eaten together.
