140.4 Whats the Eats?

My boys did dinner last night, they caught a rooster that is killing their hens and they made him for our dinner. They plucked the feathers off and cut the meat down then put a bit of flour and seasonings on and walla dinner right off the good old farm. That will teach roosters to hurt their precious hens ever again.

I fell of the wagon a bit no exercises today. I am freezing, there is one draw back to losing weight and that comes under the fact that cold weather can really put you down. I have the sniffles a bit and my head hurts. I will hit it hard tomorrow though because I want to attain my 10K now not next year.
Eats: almonds, carrot, cabbage roll, cauliflower pizza with cheese, eggs, broccoli and turkey pepperoni, and some home grown boys made baked chicken breast,

144,0 My own Stevia plant.

I had one of those physiological slides. See the scale didn't hurt me from my infractions yesterday so I kept feeling like I would be just fine and dandy. That was a nice sized weight drop.
BUT!!
I didn't feel hungry all day but I kept wanting the stuff you shouldn't have when losing with HHCG. It started with making french toast for the kids all at home. A grinding pull to taste it because it was there and I wanted. I did resist the whole one and went for tiny bites that Jer tried to feed me out of his. It had lots of cinnamon sugar on it since he thought it was toast and I disguised it under the guise of cinnamon toast. Then a very very late lunch at 3:00 because of swathing and hauling hay with the hubby. Dinner late again. and dang tempting swiss cheese. I caved I hope its not as bad on the scale rise as it might be say I was eating sugar. I wasn't even hungry I just wanted it outside of the 500 cal limit that you are supposed to stay on to drop the excess weight. This round is harder on the psyche. I know the protocol works so why do I keep messing with the temptations?

On a lighter note my Dad is the bestest. I had know idea he and my Mom where attempting to grow their own Stevia plants. They started several months ago and then brought a pretty plant to all of their kids. Its like a mint leaf without the minty taste just a very very sweet taste when you bite down into it. I was so excited now I will always have my own no calorie sweetener if I dry the leaves and grind them up into a powder. Now if only the little plant will grow big into a bushy bush. Problem is it can't ever get cold and that is going to be tough to keep from happening in the cold land of Utah.

Breakfast: Bites of cinnamon toast which was really french toast under the covering.
Lunch: Beef burger, Cherries bell tomatoes most likely more then I should have eaten. Orange and grissini sticks.
Dinner: Talopia fish, apple, and I can't remember what my veggie was we had so many kinds in the kitchen from picking most everything out of the garden because it froze last night. To many melba toast and the dang cheat of to much Swiss cheese.

147.8 I am nursing a blood pressure headache.

The Hubby is on my case about getting my blood pressure checked again. When it's that lovely TOM on about the 3rd day I can hardly see straight from the headache that can't be cut by anything at times. Maybe I should agree and stop being stubborn.
Wood cutting again getting the boys set with a really cool set up they think. It can be a project that will help with FFA (future farmers of America) grades, pic to come when the project is complete.

Headache finally left at late noon and we went in to full gear of pulling nails out of old fencing. Doing farm chores and laundry the never ending battle I fight. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be a pioneer and have only two sets of clothing. NAAA I like to wear many styles.

Dinner: Cauliflower pizza Pic tomorrow.

147.4 Somebody needs to kick me.

I just can't get going this week. It's like my running goal was reached and I have lead tied to my legs. Besides it's raining cats and dogs with every gust of wind. We are feeling the end of the summer start to creep in, the kids are hurrying to get every second of sunshine playing done. Sheep walking started this past few mornings. Can you believe it we walk sheep not dogs, sheep. The more they walk and jump jumps the more they muscle and become manageable to show. These ones are very wild and hard to hold onto. We are not even brave enough to get out of the pen with them yet because as the Pretty girl says these are the wildest we have had yet.

My 9 year old and my niece walked with me today on my two mile walk. They asked me to run part of the way to see if they could keep up, they could and it was too hot to keep up the pace.
2 miles walk/running
We had to catch some exotic chickens from my sis in law and take to my sister. It was sad by the time they got there they were over heated being chased and then caught in their tight pin three didn't handle it and passed on. They were even the prettiest of them all and the biggest too. A life lesson make sure they have a bigger box to keep them in and and try to keep them cooler after running around and around.

149.4 or is it 148.8?? Whatever it is it's for sure a steak day tomarrow.

Steak day again!
I think that the carrot cake and the popcorn and no running has caught me today. I slept in and loved it since it's been the first sleep in for about a week. Getting groceries, repair work and doing laundry is the order for the Saturday.

What a great article this is, I so agree with it. When my boys wrestle the first thing they quit eating is sugar and white rice their coach is all over them about no fried foods or french fries either. This article talks about those same evils in all of our diets for the last few years.

It was a rather productive day, fixed a closet rod that boys keep knocking down and got ready to put a screen door on the front door with the help of my wonderful Dad. While the Hubby kept all the boys out in the field hauling the last of the hay of our side of the farm and then starting the irrigation which is always wet fun.

145. Not as much as I had hoped.

Those steak days are rad and I am glad they work. Now for a busy day of eating more protein and exercise.
Lunch: I ate yummy salad with cheese, broccoli, carrots, tuna and sunflower seeds mixed with Waldon farms Ranch dressing. Yogurt with almonds mixed in also.
Jer and I made Chocolate crack that had dried blueberries and almonds broken into it. Jer made them and now I just hope that he will eat what he helped to create. (Recipe is one that I can send if you ask for it).
Dinner: I made the most yummy spaghetti sauce with lots of onions, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower,a cube of cream cheese and quinoa, I ate it without the noddles that everyone else in the house got. This is following Dr Simeons protocol menu for being off of the HCG drops that helps to set your weight during the maintenance phase. The rule is to have no starches, such as breads, potatoes, rice, corn and peas. Quinoa is actually pushing it a bit but it's protein rate is higher then it's starch rate so I am trying it. The only thing is that it was so yummy that I ate 3 bowls so I most likely undid the steak day.
Miles: Ran 2 and walked 1.5
I did exercise of a new kind, lets call it a form of weight lifting with heavy muddy boots. I wore my hubby's mine irrigation boots (steel toes if only I had known) to take care of his field watering job in our new hay field. After an hour my thighs were so dang tired and I still had to walk a mile back to the car.

My boys watching me get started with the water moving, they have to open gates when I signal to them.
Me and my lovely Hubbys HEAVY boots.
UP close with the mud washing off so I can keep walking.
Silly boys your supposed to keep the boots empty of the water not fill them up so you have to dump them.

145.4 do I say Goal yet or drop the .4 first?

Goal is tangible floating right there on the horizon. Tomorrow it will be a total conceivable finish when I get rid of that .4 reading on the scale.
I survived the taxi service day and even got peewee 4-H in tonight to top of the day. Loaded three horses (well J girl did) I really only helped load 1 but you see last year she wouldn't even get in the trailer at all so we have accomplished a feat. Hubby and I did the team work on getting her in not once but twice in one day.

Before taxi job started I walked 1 mile and ran one mile outside then awoke the summer school boy and then finished 1 mile on the treadmill. Hurried to do the 15 min taxi run. Back to the house, watered the garden, set sprinklers in motion, jumped in the shower out to dry the hair. Then back to taxi service drive for J girl, race back to make sure all other boys are dressed and head to our little town to do scouts and lunch program. Quick pick up of J girl drop her at job and head over little mountain pick up C boy. Return to hang at dog kennel job for 10 min while she finished and home to the household chores. Divided out chores everyone done in 20 min and Jer takes a nap. Made dinner ahead and all ate J girl left to practise with her horse and then called telling me she was ready to load all the other horses. Leave to accomplish above horse accomplishment. Mc boy babysat the sleeping Jer boy and keept him as happy as a lark. Whew day is finally over. I get to do a 4 hour Dr. drive tomorrow, of course after I do the morning taxi service. Making the C boy go with me leaving when I pick him up on third taxi service run.

Lunch: Hamburger in a wasa cracker bun, grapefruit with a salted cucumber. LAST HCG DROP NEW MEASUREMENT STATS COMING AND OF COURSE PHOTO SHOOT SOON.
Dinner: My last halibut from the freezer, wasa crackers, apple and some yummy raw asparagus's salad.
Miles: 3 and were 2 running.

I am grateful that this day is over and it feels great to have survived it.

YEAH WHOOOOOOO!

It really works I dropped clear back to 159.2 even having eaten the steak in the early noon instead of the evening and I am so so happy. I admit I thought I would only go back a few ounces and not the whole two pounds worth. Now to make my body stay at that set weight.

I ate coconut pancakes that are more like a crepes when they cook up. They are yummy, it was kinda of my own mixture that I thought up and that's why they are more like a crepe I think. I made a hamburger last night and blended dried parsnips, and zucchini, with some shredded frozen carrots. I added garlic and onion powder and a couple of eggs to about a pound and then mixed it and made them into patty's topped with a cheddar cheese top. My kids snarfed them so fast. Even my picky none eating baby liked his two triangle and square bites. The older boys wrapped them in a lettuce leaf the little boys ate them on a wasa cracker and the girl and my hubby ate with sugar free Raspberry salad dressing from Waldon Farms. I get to have mine for lunch today. I would say that they were a big hit.

Just some links that I fell on to that can make a farmers hair curl. I have already tried to sift through the labels and resigned myself to homemade ingredients to rid myself of the corn syrup.
